United MileagePlus (Consolidated) - Extended Network Lounges Gone from United.com

It has been replaced with a link to the Star Alliance lounge finder.

This would be fine in most cases..but not in airports where there are the handful of "exception" lounges such as where I'm sitting right now typing this... the Skyteam Lounge at LHR T4 as I await my UA flight to Houston.

With this change there is absolutely nothing at United.com that would tell someone they have access to this lounge. I only knew it from reading FT.

I saw this earlier today, pretty pathetic... They can refer to the *A site for *A lounges, fine, but not for contract lounges. MXP is another one. What about the AS BR in ANC?

Maybe they are updating the list, but seriously, bring it back.

This is PSBL. The list is really not up to date. Or hay, maybe as a new cost cutting idea we can no longer use lounges unless there is a *A lounge :)

There is contract lounge in KWI as well.

Yet another failure of the new UA to pay attention to the details that actually matter to the end traveller. Instead of taking the few minutes to figure out a system that covers all the bases, they opt for a half a$$ system that makes no one happy.
