Florida - Miami to Naples - Restaurants needed

we are flying into Miami (MIA) on a sunday around brunch/lunch time and wanted a recommendation for a restaurant that is on the way out to Naples. We are traveling with a well-behaved toddler. No national chains please!

There are no restaurants along the way. Either just in Miami proper or then when you get to Naples. Just the Everglades and a Seminole Indian reservation in between.

As worldspan said, there is not anything after you leave Miami and before you arrive at Naples. If you're arriving in Miami at lunch time and would like to eat just before leaving the area, there are two suggestions I could give, both asiatic fusion cuisine (Thai + Japanese).

If you are taking I-75 (the fastest route), there is the Moon Restaurant, at Weston (you will need to get off I-75 at Griffin Rd)

I like both of them, slightly more the Bonsai than the Moon, and I go to the Moon Coral Gables, not the Weston one.

If you aren't in a hurry you could take US41 and eat at the Rod & Gun Club in Everglades City!
