I'm sure this must have been asked before, but I can't find the thread.
I can no longer retrieve my BMI reward booking (on AC) using the Lufthansa website. Is there an alternative site I can use to manage the booking (e.g. change seats)?
Thanks!

Try lot.com (Check my booking)

Thanks.
Unfortunately, LOT is giving me the following message:
The system is unable to retrieve this trip, please contact your TravelSupport Desk if further details are needed. Contact information can befound by clicking the 'Contact' link above. (141)
The booking is now showing on BA.com, but I'm unable to edit seating etc there.
Is there an Air Canada reference showing when you look the booking up in checkmytrip.com? If so, grab it and head over to aircanada.com

Unfortunately not. I'm sure a different code used to come up on the Lufthansa website, but obviously I can't get it from there anymore. I've also tried to manage the booking thru the legacy BMI website and no joy there either.

You can get your AC booking ref from:
https://classic.checkmytrip.com/
Then head over to AC to choose seats (new feature for non-AC bookings that started this week).

Thanks - got the reference.
The AC site is saying:
"Coming soon…
If you booked your flight with a travel agent or on another website, you will soon be able to select your seat online. We are currently working on this new feature and are hoping to make it available within the next few days.
Please check back with us later."
But thats fine - I picked seats already, I just want to be able to see/update them if there is an equipment change or something.

Where's the problem...
My recently booking made with BD is still displaying at LH's 'checkmytrip'. Been able to change seats, even as my booking does not contain any LH or any LH company segment...

I also found that the reward booking I made a few months ago and originally did seat assignments on via LOT and LH does not now work with them. All AC segments, so can be seen on their site but not managed.
A different redemption that does include LH segments still appears on LH (I haven't checked LOT).

I can no longer see all of my reservations through LH. Something has changed.

Ditto on mine. Booking no longer recognised at all on LH.

You need to call 0871 220 1111 to book any seats etc.
They don't let you do anything online if you didn't originally book through Air Canada.
Check what seat(s) you would prefer first and it's all pretty straightforward when you talk to them!

In a few days you'll be able to change your seats on aircanada.com
Easiest solution is to call the airline involved directly

Yes. Everyone wants to do it online. By the time they worry about how to get it done etc, they would have gotten it done if they had called already. You DON'T need the PNR o select your seats when calling. Just your name, flight, date of departure will do!

I'm not ignoring the later posts, which give good advice, but I am intrigued by this comment. Its never been possible before to change seats for award bookings with Air Canada at aircanada.com, so what is changing in a few days? Doesn't seem to have changed so far.
I have read on another thread/board (can't remember which) that in a few days you would be able to change seats/details/etc on aircanada.com wherever the booking is made. I don't have any AC bookings myself so haven't tried it.
EDITED: it's actually in this very thread, post 7 by essexadventurer

Just tried the AC website again, and a week later it is still saying check again in a few days. No big problem, as my flights aren't for 3 months yet.

Found the link at:
http://www.aircanada.com/en/travelinfo/traveller/seatselection/offlinepnrs.html
When logging in to a booking its still giving the infamous message:
"Ooops. This booking appears to have been completed elsewhere than on aircanada.com (with either a travel agent or on another website).
It may not be possible for you to make changes to this booking or display your complete booking information. Please contact your travel agent to make any changes, or call Air Canada Reservations for assistance if you have already commenced travel."
For "It may note be ..." read "There's not a cat in hell's chance of it being ...". Just have to keep trying the above link for updates I guess.

I am having the same issue - I have a DC issued reward trip which includes TG and SQ and I can no longer use the Lufthansa website to view the booking and make changes. I can view it on the Thai website and make meal selections but can't view it on the SQ website.
I want to make a change to the seats on 2 SQ legs - who do I phone? SQ as it is their segment, TG as this is the first segment or DC?
