Mileage Run Discussion - Where to start learning about MR's?

Hey Guys

Im newbie- so please dont flame me too hard- interested in doing some mileage runs - the little I do know about doing Mileage runs from a gentlemen I met on a flight ironically. Are there any condensed guides or tips on how to gain the most efficient routes to maximize Cents/Mile.

Any advice is appreciated.

This thread is specifically about premium fares.

Welcome to FT! I've moved this discussion from the "Premium" fare thread on MR Deals as the MR Discussion forum is the appropriate place for such general queries.

Where to post in future and a good place to start your self education on MR's is as UAPremExecflyer has correctly noted with the available FT tools such as the sticky threads at the top of both MR forums. They are excellent resources but there is no better way to learn IMHO than by reading through the forums or using the search to pull up past topics. It's not something that can be learned overnight but with more effort comes more rewards.

Well I have
One World, SkyTeam, and Star Alliance Memberships because I travel for work and they usually make me go via the most economical route.

But My Star Alliance this year has the most miles.

Im at like 10K right now with a a trip to SaoPaulo coming up in June.

What Im looking for is some low cost high Mileage routes to do during the year to get my membership balances up.

Any advice is appreciated.
