The main cabin door of a jet detached and plummeted onto a golf course in Hallandale Beach Wednesday, officials said.

The door fell off shortly after the aircraft, carrying two pilots, took off, according to Kathleen Bergen, spokeswoman for the Federal Aviation Administration.

Ouch! Not good! They have to kept the door closed. Big mistake! The door should be secured.

A jet door? If someone got thrown out mid-flight, I'm curious to know what the pax did. Or was it the new (and only) benefit that DL extends to Silvers?
