I already sent in my $100 off card, now I have 5,000 points which I would much prefer. Advice appreciated.

A problem with this promotion I pointed out in previous FT post. If you win the "big" which you assumed you did when you won $100 then you have little incentive to continue playing. Then when you win something better you get stuck not being able to redeem. I understand and it has been confirmed that you can only claim one winning prize. How about a account for your significant other or trade it? I hope the terms change next time.

Isn't Marlin saying he sent in for the $100 off per night certificate (which everyone gets on those game pieces) and now has another game piece with a 5000 GP points prize? Surely Hyatt doesn't consider that $100 off to be a "prize". Seems to me he would be OK in claiming his 5000 points, as that is the real and only prize he has won thus far.

Steph58--thanks for your thought. I am hoping that you are right and will go ahead and send in the 5,000 award.

I sent in my card for the 5000 points weeks ago, nothing yet.
I hope its not like MC's promotion of double miles last year that never credited.

I stand edited and corrected. If he just claimed the $100 off two nights (a non-win card) then he can claim 5000 GP points. I thought he won the $100 MC Gift Card. Sorry about that. Still the same. Terms need revising to incentivize stays.
