I thought I remembered reading about first class pax having access to the Board Rooms but I cannot find anything on the AS site. Is this the case? And, if so, is it limited to paid F, or can those on award tickets access as well?

Paid F for sure. It does not apply to U upgraded flights.
Not sure about award F tickets.
Others will chime in and know for with absolute certainty. :)

F (paid) and A (award) Si, U (upgrade) No.
Passengers ticketed in First Class in either F or A class have access to the Alaska Airlines Board Room included in their ticket (excluding reciprocal agreements with other airline clubs or lounges). Passengers traveling on an upgraded ticket booked in U class do not have access.

Thanks. This will be an A ticket booked with AA miles. Wanted to make sure before confirming since it's SFO-SEA-ORD and there's a three hour connection at SEA. Was on the fence about using miles for this in the first place, but figured the lounge thing would be the deciding factor.

Will anyone actually see that/take the time to look at how the reservation was booked? It's a 25k o/w award booking into A class. All flights are on AS metal and therefore I'll be using AS-printed BPs (I realize anyone who looks in the res will see it's AA stock).

I was let in. They just look at the booking code on the BP when I visited the BR.

Doesn't matter. Just get an AS-issued BP and no one will know the difference.

Nope. The AS BP will have the A-class booking code, and no one will know the difference.

This.
