Southwest Rapid Rewards - Newbie Question for the Southwest experts

Greetings All,
Southwest is one of the only airline programs I have never particpated in at any point.So when asked questions recently I drew a blank
I have a friend who wants to open a new Southwest account and transfer Chase Sapphire points over.
If that's not possible what would be the options to be able do so be based on terms and conditions?

I am confused. Either you can or cannot do this with Chase points.
If you can't do it, then I don't know what "options" you are referring to.

Chase allows Transfers to Southwest no problem there
My question was is there anything preventing a new SW account holder with 0 points in account from doing so
