Southwest Rapid Rewards - Drink Coupon Treasure Hunt (BS drink coupons, etc.)

Ever since WN changed BS drink coupons to expire the day of travel - I thought we should have an equivalent to the Admirals Club Treasure Hunt (drink chits, etc.) master thread in the AA forum.

For those flying BS and not drinking on that flight - find a spot in the airport to leave your BS coupon for thirsty FlyerTalk travelers and post the location.

Anyone interested? Let's get it started.

I'm in - those BS vouchers are oh so useful on a 7:30am Monday Flight. Generally there's a huge stack of them sitting in the "No Bag" check in kiosks at Hobby Monday morning. You could feed a plane with those things.

Where are the agreed treasure hunter drop off spots at those airports as I will not be using my 2 coupons.

And- Do I leave both in one spot or 1 at each to share the love?

In Dallas - I suggest inside the old Coffee cabinet behind the Gate 3, 4, 5 (where they used to offer coffee and doughnuts). There is an empty space just waiting to become our new Love Field BS drink coupon depository.

Yes I have found them on early flights in EWR and BWI at the no bag checkin kiosks. Now that I have found them there I will always check those areas now when I travel.

Well... at least it's the customer that didn't want a drink. (God knows sometimes you could use a drink at 8am after dealing with Southwest on check-in issues on last minute flights :rolleyes:)

I have been on a few flights that the FA refused to serve because of "rough air". "rough air" my 'you know what'. There was barely 2 or 3 light shakes...for the entire 2 hr flight. Now, they made that decision after they took orders and collected the coupons, but then refused to give it back because they can't figure out who to give it back to... No apologies, no nothing.

That's on paid BS coupon or earned free coupon. In fact, I recognize the crew - it's the same one that does this all the time. On the way out of the aircraft on arrival, I actually said sarcastically, "look! my hair is all messed up again this week, what a horrible turbulence!" to the FA and my coworker said, "oh, you are the same ones from last week that wouldn't serve and there was no turbulence... what do you consider as smooth air?"

On international flights with Asian and European airlines, they would serve a multi-course meal with drinks and wine in real turbulence. I only had one instance of suspended service (which resumed later) that the air was so rough, the food on my tray tablet airborned!

SWA crew can be some of the worst in the air.

Ok so when you come through TSA in Term B at San Jose there is a fish tank to the slight left once you clear TSA.

The drink ticket is on top in the far left corner- or the front right if you walk around to the back of the tank and face TSA.

Ticket left @ 8:20a PST.

Well as of about 6pm the ticket was gone.

I came back through SJC and either somebody picked it up during the day, or the maintenance crew discovered it while working on the fish tank.

Anybody pick it up?
