Asia - Seoul - Taipei - Tokyo

Hello... I'm searching for Seoul (any airport) to Taipei (any airport) to Tokyo (any airport) for late August... currently I'm finding this flight to be about $580US on EVA (non stop). I'm wondering if I should wait on this flight until it gets closer... or purchase this once I'm in Asia. Alas, I do not speak Mandarin or Taiwanese.

Sounds about right since you are on one-way tickets during summertime travel season.

You could try waiting a little, but I don't think the prices will drop significantly. Did you check the Eva web site directly? Sometimes the airlines have cheaper fares which aren't available on the search engines.

Eastarjet and Tway Airlines just started flying Gimpo-Songshan a few weeks ago and you can usually get tickets for ~150,000KRW for a one way taxes included. You need to book these on their Korean language pages not any other language.

Awesome! Thank you so much. This is great. I see availability on EastarJet, however, it's giving me a stern warning against purchasing a one way ticket from Seoul to Taipei. I have a US passport... do you think they will deny me boarding with only a one way?

Ah, nevermind. I found a thread on another travel forum that is dedicated to that warning on EastarJet's site. Seems all is well. I have a return flight from Tokyo. Thanks so much!
