Travel Technology - Will T-Mobile 7in Samsung Galaxy Tab get 3G in Europe ?

has anyone used the Tmobile Galaxy tab in Europe ?

Do you get 3G or just EDGE ,

I am just wondering which Tab to buy , the Tmobile one or the AT&T version

Anything else to consider ?

Ohhh and how does the GPS work ?

Buy an 'unlocked' one and avoid having to chose a carrier. Also allows you to get the best rates possible generally.

GPS in Europe works like the GPS in America :p
Just different maps.

he T-mobile version has the ability to work with AT&T (only with 1900MHz y-but not with 850 MHz), and in Europe. AT&T version also has the ability to work in Europe, but not with T-mobile U.S.
Having the ability does not mean that the ability is made available to you. Once unlocked, both will work in Europe and most of the world. AN un.locked T-mobile version will work with AT&T in areas where it provides 1900 MHz service, but unlocked AT&T version will not work with T-mobile.
All comments above apply to 3G data, not voice.

It supports Euro 3G at 900mhz.
