We are heading to Bristol by way of Heathrow in a couple of weeks and are interested in car service between the airport and the hotel, rather than going by bus/train. Anyone willing to recommend a particular company?
Thanks.
Can't recommend one - but pick a one that is Bristol based as they are likely to be cheaper and, more importantly, they'll know where you are going and not have to rely on GPS. Don't expect to pay much under around £150 as it is a 2 hour drive
You do know BTW you can get direct coaches to Bristol for £24 per person

No, I didn't. Had a number of business meetings at Abbey Wood and stayed in Filton near Bristol Parkway. Everyone either took the train to Paddington, then back to Parkway, or a coach to Reading, then picked up the same train to Parkway. Guess I assumed it would be the same for Bristol proper. I will check that out.
If you're OK with the train but you don't like the coach to Reading, you might consider a pre-booked taxi. Heathrow to Reading = £40. Considering the coach is £15 per person, a taxi is not bad value for two people. I think this is likely to get you to your destination sooner than any other route (although, if you're lucky with the timing, the coach + rail option could be the same).
