US Airways Dividend Miles - Unaccompanied minor (that's not really unaccompanied -- adults on separate PNR)

Anything I need to do about this? I told the ticketing agent and she must have done something. I booked my toddler an F ticket with miles, all by himself on the theory that rest of party will upgrade via my status. Website let me book it. Anything I need to keep an eye out for when it comes time to travel?

I'm having trouble understanding your post. Can you elaborate? What do you think the agent did?

If I understand your post - you used cash for tickets for you (and another) hoping to get upgraded via status at your window and you also used miles to purchase a ticket in F for a minor. Risky-I guess if the upgrade does not clear, you could always move an adult into F and move the minor next to the other adult.

Yeah, that's exactly what I did. It actually wasn't so risky since the F ticket was less miles than the coach ticket -- yeah you read that right. I might not have even noticed had I not intended to book the F originally. If the upgrade doesn't clear (I think it will), then we will just swap with someone in coach or split up our party with an adult in the F seat.
I have no idea what the phone agent did but she said she would "take care of it" which I assume means put a note in the record that he was connected to another PNR so no unaccompanied minor fee.

You just need to ensure that an adult PAX will ultimately accompany the child in the same cabin (it does not have to be on the same PNR/ticket).
The minimum age for the UM program is 5 years, so it would not be an option for a toddler anyway.
I've been able to buy a ticket for a child after ticketing myself on the same flight. Wasn't a problem, though different PNRs. They even waived the phone fee.
I think it might get a bit complicated if there are irregular ops, though.
I'm a bit surprised they did it for you in different cabins, but good to know.
