Not sure if this is the place for it vs. the Canada forum but I will be taking an AC flight flying YYZ-ORD.
I am hoping to just take carry on but would like to purchase icewine - is it available at the duty free store?
Do they have the mini sample pack of various icewines?

Thanks I'll give that a try.
The number I had was a 905 area code and no one ever picked up. Hopefully this number works!
edit: thanks djjaguar64! i'll go early to have enough time to browse + purchase

No, you are restricted to that part of the airport only.

That actually brings up a very interesting point. Are items prohibited in the US somehow restricted by the preclearance act? As far as any retail sales in the US departures area are concerned, you are most certainly in Canada, you pay Canadian sales taxes, etc.

i guess the question is, do they offer Cuban cigars at the duty free in the US preclearance area?

No they don't. Strictly non-Cubans.
However, as cigars aren't liquids there's nothing to stop you from buying them in a cigar store (not duty free) and just smuggling them home in your luggage, other than the fact you'd be breaking American law.
You'd also be paying "non duty-free" Canadian prices ($20 - $30 per cigar).

No. You'll do much better just ordering online from JR Cigars when you get home.
