Recently applied for a credit card with sign up bonus, and have about a 750 score. They asked for a few verifications on my business, which I supplied the answerers for them. Now it has been 30 days and no response from them. Should I contact them by mail and or just let it drop and wait for another offer to come in the mail? What is the best stratagy? I have never been turned down on a card even doing churning for miles.

Why don't you just call Citi and find out?

Not uncommon for banks to lose apps or not respond. Not legal, but not uncommon.

No response within 30 days is a violation of Equal Credit Opportunity Act--meant to prevent banks' once usual way of discrimination against minorities, just not responding to apps.

You could file a complaint with the new Federal Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, http://www.consumerfinance.gov/, and maybe you should.

Can you prove you sent in the app? Screen shot? Not required, but can be very useful.
