Air New Zealand Air Points - Restricted award flight availability to *A partners?

Using Expert Flyer I can see I and X booking class availability but when I attempt to book those via a KrisFlyer *A award they say they can't see any availability. This suggests NZ makes fewer award seats available to *A partners than ExpertFlyer shows.

Does anyone know if that's the case? (As opposed to the SQ agent not seeing something.)

E/F returns availability based on Geographic location of USA (Default) or UK (selectable). Airlines can vary availability by several facets, including location.

It can be as simple as that. e.g. SQ don't wish to provide awards on thier partners in 'local' regions.

Or it could be SQ not wanting to ticket partner awards despite the operating airline having inventory available. This phenomenon has been observed with other airlines (UA) in the past.

Not saying it is, but this might not necessarily be an NZ issue.

Or it could just be some SQ<>NZ interfacing issue.
