I need 3000 miles on Delta to make Gold - I am looking at a run MSP - MCO on 5/29-30 for $210. Any ideas?

MRs are not based on where and when you need to go, but jumping on a fare to a place you don't necessarily want too fly to.

+1... also not necessarily a run within a week's time which coincides with a long weekend.

OP, have you read http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/mileage-run-deals/454485-welcome-mileage-run-forum-important-information-how-mr-forums-work.html?

Go to a travel agent if you need or want help with a specific itin.

You'll have to move that back by a day, and will achieve 2620 eqms, now if you could try a 1 stop itinerary then that could increase the eqms and bring it closer to 3000:

Minneapolis/Saint Paul (MSP) to Orlando (MCO) - Wed, May 30
Delta 2074 Dep: 7:30AM Arr: 11:43AM 3h 13m Boeing 757 Economy (T)

Orlando (MCO) to Minneapolis/Saint Paul (MSP) - Thu, May 31
Delta 2074 Dep: 1:30PM Arr: 3:59PM 3h 29m MD-90 Economy (T)

Cost per passenger (including taxes & fees) $209.60
Total cost for 1 passenger

I found this fare, $210 out of MSP non-stop to MCO, which will give me roughly 2600 miles. I am asking for help on increasing the mileage for this particular itinerary and hopefully keeping the fare the same. If this is the wrong forum, let me know where to ask the question.

While you are using this, try "DL+" or even "dl dl dl" in the routing codes to see if you can get more segments in the run.

If you use "dl dtw dl" both ways, the mileage goes up to 2968. Did you need the full 3000?

I'm closing this thread as it's not a MR but a fare request which as per forum in the sticky given by mudd_stuffin are not permitted.

I would suggest OP invest some time reading the sticky to learn how to post in the MR forums for future reference.
