Can't see how it will result in any major differences for any pax, except Edelweiss CC and their need to learn the service concept but interesting nevertheless.

COO Rainer Hiltebrand unveiled plans to temporary entrust one of our SWISS Airbus A330-300s to Edelweiss Air’s operating responsibility. The aircraft concerned will be used to fly SWISS services with Edelweiss Air cockpit and cabin crews. Its SWISS livery will be retained, but with the addition of the legend “operated by Edelweiss Air”. The wet-lease solution is being adopted to reduce the current backlog of vacation entitlements among our SWISS Airbus pilot corps. :D

wow, Edelweiss with 1st class section. Guess it will be reserved for company personnel as well as F&F ( friends and family of the crew ).

The way I understand this, that A333 will just fly regular LX routes, with paid pax in F/C/Y. Only difference would be the crew which is WK's.

vienna-resident is correct. It will be interesting to see how the WK cabin crews handle the LX premium class service.

I prefer a motivated WK F/A in her 20's than some old unfriendly dragon that you can find occasionally upfront :D

I have never had a bad flight in LX F so the "old unfriendly dragon" must be restricted to certain routes.
