Practical Travel Safety Issues - I have been through the Trusted Traveler process ... how do I use it?

So I went the Trusted Traveler setup for Global Entry and as a result, also get PreCheck (for domestic travel).

So no waiting for an airline invite, no status requirements, etc.

But now how do I make sure to use the PreCheck lane?

Flash the card?

I have input my TT number in my various airline profiles and saw that I had to also put it in manually into my specific reservation that I have active at this time (on AA) despite having put it in my profile (I figure this is because I had made my reservation before completing the TT process).

Will printing out my boarding pass in a couple of days at home simply have the necessary info on it to use the PreCheck lane at MIA for AA?

The way I have seen lanes set is that the TDC checker will scan your BP and if PreCheck eligible you get sent to that line otherwise the normal scope and grope line. The lines to get into PreCheck have typically been for the elite lines.

I have used both home and airport printed BP for PreCheck.

In <some country> you do not use the program. The program uses you ;) Technically, you can use it at any airport where they have those kiosks. Also, you can enter the number you got into your airline profile and then see above.

Trusted Traveler for TSA Pre has different criteria and often dependent on the airline. In some cases, there is an invitation to be included or an opportunity to add your Global Entry member id in your airline frequent flyer profile.
