bmi diamond club - Cancel status match

Hi, I realise I made a big mistake by requesting my status match (which hasn't happened yet) at the wrong time. I based my decision on my Blue card's expiry date... silly I know. My EC membership year end is 08 Jul 2012 and my DC Gold membership expires on 14 Jul 2012 with more than enough to renew for another year.
Any thought on how I could cancel l my status match request? or ask BA to disregard it?

The status match offer won't last forever so I'd take it while it's on the table!

Mine's the same ... EC ends on 08 Jul 2012 and DC Gold on 20 Jun 2012.
I wonder what the both of us will end up with ? Aug 2013 ?
