Le Club Accorhotels - Platinum upgrades at Sofitel Gatwick

Has anyone ever been upgraded at Sofitel Gatwick?
If so from which room type to which room type?

I was upgraded from a "superior" to a "club floor" room. There was no difference in the rooms other than a little nicer toiletries. The club was nothing to rave about.

Same here. Check in staff were a little puzzled at my status as it was booked in silver but quickly put on the Club floor and given welcome drinks etc.

Lounge nothing special but we tried our best ;-)
