I am supposed to stay at IC Tel Aviv and got this upgrade to executive or club room but no benefits. Is this normal?
Are there any properties having the same?

I stayed somewhere else. For that reason i dont see any upgrade benefit. Pay breakfast and internet. I am asking if this is normal or any other property has similar policy. The poster indicated that he was an Ambassador rather than Royal Ambassador ( as far as I could see ) and it is definitely not unprecedented for an Ambassador upgrade not to include lounge access; there are others With a Royal Ambassador status, the upgrade to Club Intercontinental (where available) I am also under impression that this , as you mention, does include lounge access and haven't come across anywhere trying to refuse it This of course assumes it is a paid stay paulmoscow May 20, 12, 11:36 pm This of course assumes it is a paid stay And even then you may need to fight when using F&F rates. holtju2 May 21, 12, 12:52 am Some hotels have an Executive/business level that doesn't include lounge access, but some free items like internet and pressing etc. I had a rather nice stay as a RA at this hotel few years ago. Need to go back at some point. |
