Food excellent. Lounge excellent. Will be 2 shorthaul flights (4hrs each) so no longhaul biz seat. Good chance of armchair style seats (similiar to US domestic first class) but also chance of standard eco with middle seat blocked.

Were you to use EY/EK you would have proper longhaul treatment for this route.

As Soy says, the food and lounge are excellent.

The lounge they use at MAN Terminal 1 (it's been the Escape Lounge when I've flown this route) is okay, with booze, hot and cold soft driks, nibbles and the offer of cooked breakfast whilst waiting for the morning flight, but not a patch on the IST CIP Lounge.

With regard to the seats, I've had both on the MAN - ISTand IST - MAN 738s and, surprisingly, I've found it easier to sleep on the blocked eco seats (as I kept sliding down in the armchairs:rolleyes:). IFE consists of drop down screens, but I've always just listened to music.

All in all,, I've neveer had any reason to complain and will normally opt for TK when possible.

I have flown IST-AUH-IST more times than I can remember and your chances of a decent Biz seat are slim, see if you can get the EY codeshare, much better in all respects.
