pizzaman has a nice report on his recent trip to Japan (yes he was on the inaugural 787 flight from BOS to NRT too). He posted a pic of the sign directing people to the new JAL Lounge with AA. At the bottom, it says JAL is planning lounge expansions and it will be completed by Fall 2012.

Is the upper level F lounge JAL used to occupied still empty? Maybe they are re-opening that area? My *guess* is this is just an increase in capacity to solve the overcrowding issues in the morning but not something substantial in terms of offerings
