Asiana Club - New Seat Map for 777-200 ?

There would appear to be a new seat configuration for the 777-200’s. While selecting a seat in Business for a flight ICN-SYD next October the seat map shows four rows of four across in front of the lav’s and galley and an additional four rows of four across behind the lav’s and galley. First four rows seem to be more spacious so I assume they are first. Anybody familiar with this layout?

The current F on the 3 class 777 is 2 rows only with 8 seats, doubtful they are adding 2 more rows increase to 16 seats, given low demand for F.

True, when I say downgrade, I mean seat capacity... Just smaller aircraft..

VERY interesting. I just checked out seats for our flights around then and when before I saw the 2-3-2 business seat map, now I see

2 rows of 1-2-1 (first class I guess) all the way in the front of the plane
divider
2 rows of 1-2-1
lavs/galley
3 rows of 1-2-1

The best part is that it had two seats in F available to select (must be sold as 2 class only), So I selected them (one window and the center next to it).

I'm assuming this is a no brainer right? Or would it be better to get 2 seats together in the middle farther back?

edit: the way back from syd is still showing 2-3-2 :(

Okay, putting it together it looks like it's one of the 2 777's they have on order with boeing, which are said to be 3 class with quadra business. They must be coming in this year.

Puzzled! Every time I fly this route the plane is absolutely full.

hopefully these new 772's will have new economy seats with the bigger screens like on the 747's

does anyone know when or if this aircraft goes into service?

"As we mentioned yesterday, our new aircraft, B777-200ER(HL8254), just landed Incheon International Airport. As there are several unique features in this aircraft, we will show you later through Facebook."
