There are 4 of us departing from Terminal B, including a total of 8 bags and 4 carry-ons. Don't know whether to pay for and struggle with individual baggage carts (would probably need 4) or have a porter put them all on one cart and take them into the check-in counter for us. Can a porter put all 8 bags on the same cart? Are the porters located outside the terminal or would I have to go looking for one inside?

If we get individual carts do the machines accept both cash and credit cards?

Advice would be appreciated. The other travelers are female and I cannot lift a great deal these days.

I guess we could wheel all of the bags into the terminal. But, that would be somewhat impractical.

There are porters outside so you don't have to go inside to look for them. I have seen them with big carts loaded with many bags, and I'm sure the porter will be able to fit all the bags in one cart. I don't know how much of a tip they expect since I never use their services.

As this topic is specific to one airport, we'll move this to the Orlando forum for further discussion. Thanks! :) /JY1024, TravelBuzz co-moderator

Thanks again. I do know that they charge $2 per bag. At least that is what was posted on the Orlando airport website. There was just nowhere on that website that told me where the porters hang out. I guess it's worth $2 per bag to not have to lug them from the curb to check-in.
