Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan - Exit Row Numbering Changes

Recieved this email from AS yesterday. They are going to standardize the numbering of exit rows on all 737s, which is great since you will less likely end up with a undesired seat in the case of aircraft swaps etc.

but the downside is.. make sure check your seat assignment constantly. If you notice any change, you have to manually change it back..
