American Express Membership Rewards - Can i get points using gift cards?

I want to know if i buy a lets say 2k gift card using a Visa card. Is any way that when i spend those 2k i earn MR points?

No, you only earn Membership Rewards points when you use a card which is enrolled in the program. Prepaid cards are not eligible.
