My partner and I will be in Ireland, primarily Dublin, for a week in mid-June. Does anyone know of any gay bars or restaurants where the crowd is mostly 40's and 50's? We enjoy piano and cocktail bars over dance bars.

While not all in the age group you describe it's certainly a more "upscale" place than the few alternatives. starflyergold Jun 16, 12, 3:41 am Good Dublin overview in this thread (not much has changed) http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/glbt-travelers/901801-dublin-ireland-mlk-day.html and yes the Front Lounge would probably be your best bet. zigzagg900 Jun 16, 12, 8:28 am The George www.thegeorge.ie Have fun. starflyergold Jun 16, 12, 9:31 am My partner and I will be in Ireland, primarily Dublin, for a week in mid-June. Hmmm, not sure that's what the OP is looking for, the George is the twink bar in Dublin (expect the small part called Jurassic and is hideous) |
