Normally I stay in Starwood properties but was in Khon Kaen Thailand on business and decided to stay ahe Pullman hotel there. Was impressed with the room and excellent WIFI, so I decided to join the Le Club program as a beginner (the free program).
Registered and got a member number; and asked the hotel to update my reservation with the Le Club member number, which they did.
However, when I login to my Le Club account, it does not show this current reservation at the Pullman Khon Kaen Raja Orchid.
I spoke to the assistant hotel or perhaps front office manager and she told me the systems were not linked; and the property systems are not linked to the Le Club system and that is why my current reservation does not show in my account.
She did mention that I would get points / night credits after checkout.
I found it strange that the systems are not linked, especially in the year 2012, a time when linking systems is not difficult.
