Hi,

We are going HK for vacation in this coming August. Just by chance I saw a deal online about 78HKD for Hotpot Buffet at this place :

龍池小廚
Unit A,60 Lung Chi Path,Ngau Chi Wan, Wong Tai Sin, Kowloon
Tel:2439 4188

I can't find any reviews on openrice, anybody has any experience with this place? Worth it?

This is the deal : http://www.groupbuyer.com.hk/en/deal/sunnyrich_15052012

No idea about that place, but price is typical. I recently had a "nice" dinner for HKD 128 for 2 (pork ribs and fish); good quality and taste even without considering the price. I usually spend >HKD 1000 for dinner but was happy with that meal in Kowloon.

No idea about this place, but it looks fairly run-of-the-mill for hotspots, which you can find everywhere. Sure you MAY save a little money like US$10/person, but be careful about group-buy deals in HK. They may have limited availability at the time, and on the day you want to eat there.

In general, it may be fine for a local living close to Wong Tai Sin, but even I wouldn't bother, though I live in HK and love hotpots. Definitely won't recommend for visitors with short stay, unless in Wong Tai Sin, which seems unlikely.
