Iberia Airlines Iberia Plus - Interline bags to AA?
MAD to LAX on IB, then separate ticket from LAX to PHX on AA.
Will IB tag my backs all the way through the PHX, so that I can just drop them at the bag drop in the International Terminal after clearing customs, or do I need to lug them to check in at the domestic AA terminal?

If on the same PNR, they should do so. If not, YMMV.
Nope. Different PNR.
So, what's the procedure? Just try to convince them in MAD when checking in?

Sorry. Actually, not sure how this would be handled. I've had some success checking through with different PNRs but it's been variable. And haven't done the IB/AA combo.
