Thai Airways Royal Orchid Plus - Outstanding service in F

I flew TG 601 HKG-BKK today in F.
There was only 2 of us in F.
The F crew, one lovely lady and one very nice steward were simply outstanding.
Kind, very attentive, always present , responsive to any request, going beyond the normal call of duty , and most importantly , they really seemed to care about their job.
Being TG Plat and flying TG in F more than 10 times a year for the last 15 years , they really were the best crew I ever came across.
One small thing that really got to me and frankly moved me , was when I thanked the male FA for taking such good care of me, he replied very candidly : " Thank you for feeding my family " .

TG601 is usually an excellent flight. Time for a great lunch. And food exHKG is so much better than exBKK.
The duration of the flight is perfect for service as they are working full time but no need to rush it. Therefore, not time to nap.

That being said, it is a bit sad to post an excellent flight in F as "exceptional". It tells a lot about the usual motivation of the elder TG staff.

Never flown 601, it is a gentleman's time to travel, isn't it?, I seem to have always caught the 600 to and the 607 back to Bangkok. This year especially, seem to be on the 747-400, whilst I always loved the old one because it had a club feel, it is fun all the same. Maybe I have been so pre occupied, but the cabin crews never talk to me, guess it goes both ways, but they have always been superb on this Regional hop

I've not flown TG F since they flew BKK-LAX via KIX. I have LHR-BKK / BKK-FRA in F booked in July. I can't wait.

I had the exact same feeling. I thought I was the only one - I guess there are two of us ... Mind you my affinity to the old 747 did not extend beyond this sector !!!
