How big is the Turkish tourism visa available at the border? I have a ticket on hold and just realized that my passport is filling up. There are no empty pages, but there are two pages that have three empty squares (or more accurately, three-almost empty squares. The stamps are outside the lines). I tried checking the Turkish government sites for this information, but no luck. Last time I was in Turkey was more than ten years ago and the "visa" was more like a proof of payment consisting of a series of three small paper stamps.

Also, I would like to spend a couple of days in Turkey coming and going over a three week period. As nearly as I can tell, as a US citizen, the visa purchased at the border will allow me to enter (and leave) twice within this time period.

The Turkish VISA is a stamp, approximately 1 1/4 inch by 2 inches in size. It's multiple entry.

Many thanks. Assuming that it does not require an empty page, my current passport should be OK.

It takes about 1/2 a page, but you may still want to contact your local Turkish embassy and verify. Your entry and exit stamps will also go on that page.

I'm looking at the visa in my UK passport from a trip I took a couple of months back. It takes up about a third of a page though could have conceivably been squeezed into slightly less by being placed closer to the edge/bottom of the page. With entry/exit stamps it has used up almost a half page.
They certainly did not need a clean page - mine is sitting happily next to a departure stamp from Sydney from about a year ago.

Mine took half a page with entrance/exit stamps stamped over the visa, the visa was a sticker that I had to buy on arrival and attach in my passport before clearing immigration.

Thanks. This is really helpful information.

They are happy to squeeze it into whatever space is available and larger than the sticker.

I sent my passport back to the passport office and they added ages. It took about 10 days. Form is on the State Department web page.
