bmi diamond club - Cancel BMI, rebook on BA?

I have a bmi flight coming up (paid, not points, and booked through Expedia).

I have to cancel the trip, which means I have one year to rebook--- does anyone know what will happen to my BMI credit with this whole BA business? Will I be able to rebook on a BA flight, or will it need to be labeled BMI?

It very well might be airline specific. The refund will be based upon the conditions of the fare. If the fare does not allow a refund, then that's it.

If it does allow a full refund, Expedia will just refund the money back to you, less a service charge.
