Book and ticket by 18May. (Prices in USD)

YVR-LHR-YVR Upper Class base fare $ 758 , book in Z class.

Its cheaper than the lowest "O" class economy fare of $ 775 , with tax comes to $1445

This deal , with taxes and all come out $1774 !

Valid for travel from 24 May to 10 Jun outbound from YVR. Ticket is valid for 1 year - though don't know how they're gonna implement that considering the last date you can use this is the last LHR-YVR flight on 27Oct2012.

Fare is only valid from YVR.

Note : Limousine service not applicable on this fare.

Works on AC too.

LH and LX too.

From YVR anyway. LX is via YUL codesharing with AC.

:p

Looks like almost every carrier is joining in - from any US / Canadian city to London. AA, BA, IB, UA, etc. Only group that hasn't jumped on this is - Skyteam !

But some airlines (actually all except BA and VS) is forcing return by 10 June even though ticket is valid for a year ? Doesn't make sense. Is this for the Queen's Jubilee ??

BA sent out a notice earlier this week indicating the $1952 price (just for those dates) to commemorate HRH's reign started in 1952 - clever, yes?

I could use the pretty badly but I need it for a trip in July - anyway to manipulate this into that? Would booking inside the validity dates and then moving the ticket re-price the fare?

Only group that hasn't jumped on this is - Skyteam !

Delta from Seattle is in the mix (with usually a codeshare leg somewhere in the itinerary), perhaps other US cities as well. ITA shows RTs as low as mid-$1600s for Skyteam. (Ex: $1662.90 USD ai SEA-DTW-LHR on Delta departure 5/26, LHR-AMS KLM & AMS-SEA Delta return on 5/28.) Only a bit more on airline & OTA websites, before finessing...

Anybody have luck booking their RTN flight past June 9/10? First day BA was doing this, but no luck on any airline anymore.

Nope. They apparently tightened the date restrictions during the day yesterday.

Yesterday AM I was getting sale pricing for a Jun 11 return, but yesterday pm I was not.

Does anyone know when the latest to book on Delta? I called the Platinum line, and the ta only saw that the ticket needed to be bookeed 5 day advance. The fare code is SP99US.

From the fare rules:
SALES RESTRICTIONS TICKETS MUST BE ISSUED ON/BEFORE 18MAY12.

So tickets must be purchased today. I don't know what time zone it uses: the timezone of the departure city, ATL(EDT), or wherever the server is located, the ticketing city, or something else.

I was just about to go for this for a weekend in June on UA to YYC-SFO-LHR and then checked that, the class of service bonus to Aeroplan, may not be the extra 50%. This is not clear but it books into P and AE website states that the extra 50% is only on "first" and 25% on "Full business fare".

This would absolutely not make it worth it, if I am correct.

Definitely ended anyway. Just tried with VS and UA and all back to $4200. The UA guy couldnt even find the fare when he back dated it till yesterday, even though I had a screen shot of it. My fault, mucked up the dates and missed it by 3 hours... :td:

Then don't credit it to AC! You could have tried booking it on any of the *A carriers participating between NA and LHR but excluding US, SQ, NZ and TK.

The fare for UA is :

PNC45S P‡R 771.00 E17MY T18MY 7/3 -/12M AT01
C10JN

Which means, book in P class.
Fare of $ 771 before taxes.

Fare offered for sale on 17th MAY, and ticket must be issued by 18th MAY.
Departure must be at least 7 days in advance - which is ok as start from 23MAY only. And ticketing must be (normally) issued within 3 days. But in this case, the ticket must be issued the next day by 1115pm PM wherever UA's computer base is located.

Originally when I posted this, Skyteam did not participate on this.. but they obviously changed their mind .. and they finally offered it via DL, AF, KL, OK & AZ... but they offered it for sale on the 17th May, and ticketing must be done by 1159pm I supposed ATL time on the 18th !!

Not a lot of time IMO.

There is no restriction on the return for BA flights originating from Canada. This is probably due to the match to VS for their startup introduction to YVR with no return date by. Ticket is valid for a year for both , though VS's last (planned) scheduled flight into YVR is on 27October. I managed to book my return (on VS) on that date. But I hope that VS will extend their run. We , Canadian Northwesterners need seriously need another choice to the two scheduled ones we only have to UK and beyond.
