Has anyone lately transfered between Haneda and Narita by the Limobus?
The first am bus leaves tne last pickup at 8 am headed for Narita.
My flight leaves at 11 am from Narita and I should be there at least 2hours before the flt leaves but that wont be possible.
JAL said this is a legal connection.
The train is out with 6 pieces of luggage, 4 of those are huge.
I have seen travel times on the limo (Monday morning Jan 21) in rush hour of over 2 hours. Some have reported 90 minutes.
Has anyone done this first AM bus-Limo? I would like to know some of the times it took to make this first trip to Narita from Haneda.
I really am getting stressed over this now. On top of the bus ride, JAL closes the gates one hour before the flight, 3/4 for Exec Class.
Thanks for your info in advance.

A little tight, but should not be a problem. If it's a weekend, no sweat at all. Weekday it will start to get a little crowded as you come into Tokyo, but I can't believe it will take more than 90 minutes. If it looks really tight when you're booking the limo bus ticket, you can always take a cab ($300), which will get you there in 50 minutes without traffic 90 minutes absolute max.
Where are you going from HND? For most domestic routes, there are a lot of flight each day and you can just take a later flight if you miss.

The OP is travelling from HND to NRT and flying out of NRT at 11am.

You could taxi to Tokyo City air terminal, T-CAT, and catch an earlier bus from there. Busses from T-CAT start at 5:45 am and run at least every 15 minutes. However, I'm not at all sure that 6 pieces of baggage would fit into an average Tokyo taxi even if it was just 2 people. There are some larger taxis available, you might be able to snag one of those. Or you might need two taxis. But this would be a lot cheaper than taxiing all the way to NRT.
Even more convenient would be is the Tokyo city air terminal, T-CAT. Busses from there start at 5:45am and run every 15 minutes at that time.

Just out of curiosity, why six pieces of luggage? Do you carry product samples or some type of equipment? Or do you have five people traveling with you?
I second the recommendation for the TCAT. It's cheaper than taking a cab all the way to the airport, and the buses run more frequently than the scheduled service betwen HND and NRT.

The 06.50am limousine bus to TCAT is scheduled to reach TCAT at 07.15am.
Buses departing from TCAT at 07.20, 07.30, 07.45 and 08.00am should all work (the 08.00 bus is scheduled to reach NRT at 09.05am)
Note that the luggage rules of limousine bus are 2 pcs per passenger: The employees might have some flexibility, but six pieces might be stretching things too far. I wonder if they'd charge for an extra seat?

If the OP is travelling solo with six pieces of luggage, a better option might be to take a large cab to Shinagawa station and catch the 07.51am Narita Express train from there. ETA at NRT is 09.01am. Yes, it would mean getting bags from the taxi rank to the concourse level, through the ticket gate, and down to platform level, but there are elevators, so ... it's doable, I think.

My wife and I leave Miami on a celebrity cruise ship in the beginning of Oct.
On the ship till we hit SIN on jan 20.
3.5 months away with 2 large suitcases and one carryon each isnt too bad, right?
The wife has unteeen pairs of shoes and formal dresses for this 3.5 month period.
Since I live in Fl the first part is easy. Take a rental car to the Port Of Miami (2 hr drive) and board the Ship.
Everything is bliss until D Day when we debark at 8am on Sunday Jan 20th. Our JAL flight leaves SIN at 10:30 pm to Haneda (arrive 5:55 am), then after flying all night to Haneda we have to get to Narita which sounds stressful.
As long as that first limo at 8:00 am makes it by 9:45 am I guess JAL will accomodate me. It is a Monday morning in Japan and rush hour.
JAL tells me ,,,No Problem..lol
Thanks in advance for your comments everyone.

I misunderstood. Thanks for the clarification. There is even less traffic in that direction. Get's a little more crowded if you were leaving at 9, but at 8 it will be fine. Maybe a touch of congestion around Ooi and at the the Chidoricho exit, but probably not. I would think 75 minutes maximum. The following link shows traffic congestion live. If you want to reassure yourself, you can check 8am to 8:30 Tokyo time on a few weekdays. Bottom line though, nothing to worry about.

IME the limo buses tend to arrive at NRT ahead of schedule. Drivers are connected and revise routes to avoid traffic. You are going against rush hour, so the risk is in getting out of Tokyo. With two checked bags and one carryon per person, I would not attempt train, etc. and keeping the carryon with you in the bus should avoid issues with luggage allowances.
If you decide to do the taxi route, go to TCAT. You can check in there for many flights and then the system is to put all passengers for the same flight onto the same bus to NRT with the understanding that if the bus is delayed, the plane will wait for it; I've even heard rumors of buses driving onto the tarmac, but there must be some security and passport control procedures. I have no personal experience with this, so YMMV, but it might be worth checking whether these conditions would apply to your flight.

+1. MSP is right. Definitely take the bus. Going to TCAT will take much longer. You really don't need to worry at that time and in that direction.

Glad to hear the drivers get to the terminal early!
And, we are going against rush hour.
I will buy the transfers at a local Orlando Travel Agency, IACE TRAVEL, that is a representative so there are no hassles at Haneda getting my Limo tickets. They take your CC over the phone and send you the limo tickets for $30 each.
If there is anything more to share please dont hesitate.
Thanks!

I thought check-in at TCAT ceased due to security concerns shortly after 9/11/2001. Did they restart it?
EDIT - I just took a look at the limo bus timetable. 7.40am departure from international terminal - stops at the other two terminals, leaving T1 at 7.55am. ETA at NRT is 9.00am. As others have said, that is pretty safe.

They have a published charge (on the sign at the airport) for each extra bag. I don't remember what it is but I recall it isn't too bad, maybe a few hundred yen each.

As mentioned above, check-in at TCAT was ended several years ago.
