Virgin Australia Velocity - Anyone gotten Pilot Gold Membership?

Just curious if anyone has been offered or asked to be put on this?

"Pilot Gold

11.7 Selected Members who have not earned sufficient Status Credits to upgrade to Gold Membership may be offered Pilot Gold Membership by VRPL for a three month trial period (“Pilot Gold Membership”)."

Yes I received a Pilot Gold Card during the week with an expiry in July 13 my company recently switched all travel to Virgin Australia & we were all offered offered to join the lounge for $262.50 until 30/11/13 with no extra fees ( I took up the offer).

I was contacted by Virgin about 6 weeks ago who offered the Gold Pilot program to me as I complained about not receiving a reply from them during my initial enquiries about joining the lounge.

I have given pilot gold memberships to people before.

Its 3 months of 'trial gold' membership where you need 80 sc by hook or by crook which you can extend till the end of the year.
