Hey, I will be traveling to Paris France with one other person from May 28th to May 31st. We need a room with 2 beds, and are looking to spend around $300 a night(yes I know its low for Paris). Preference obviously goes to hotels closer to the city center. Would love to hear some of your recommendations and reviews.
Thanks.

$300 buys a very nice 4* just about anyplace in paris. search with venere.com i like their guest comments. i have never stayed in this hotel

but it looks like one of interest. search by four star, then by price. a 4* in paris is a decent hotel, almost every time. i always stayed in 3*, and one gets a lot of local flavor, and a couple 5+*'s, that are pretty plastic.

I will go for L'Hôtel
13, rue des Beaux Arts
The former Oscar Wilde residence in Paris, decorated by Jacques Garcia.
True atmosphere, exceptional location in the heart of Saint-Germain.
If you love art and Rive Gauche spirit, you cannot miss it!
$300 - about 240 euros - is quite a good budget in Paris unless you want something very exclusive. Here are a few very stylish hotels around that price range, they're in different locations but in the center:
