Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles - Turkish Airlines J class (Longhaul)

I'd like to know what my fellow FT members think of TK's longhaul J product.
I'm planning to use them for a winter trip to Tel Aviv, routing would be YYZ-IST-TLV, round trip.
I'm not really concerned about about the 2hr hops between Istanbul and Tel Aviv, more about their 777 seats and service. I'll be having a KSML for those interested, so no food reviews required ;-)
I'm planning to book with them because they're considerably cheaper ($2955 compared to $4350) than AC's non stop and I've always wanted to try out the lounge in Istanbul.

TK J on 777 is one of the best business class available worldwide.
On 332 and 434, TK has a very decent product, but nothing special.
On the narrow body, it's quite different (seats are most of the time the same as in Y with only the middle seat blocked) but still very good catering.
Their lounge is very good.

My recollection is the product is the same on the 332 and 777 - other than cabin config (2-3-2 vs 2-2-2 IIRC)
Very good hard product IMO... FA's can be good or not...
I am booking with them again.. what better comment can I make? :D

TK 777 is a very nice hard product. Full flat beds, big screen IFE. I recently flew IST-LAX-IST and had WiFi and Live TV available for free both directions on 777.
WiFi is shared 5 Mbit/s, works ok for (s)low traffic internet applications. VoIP is prohibited in terms and conditions. I used iMessages from iPhone, worked like a charm. I also liked nice amenity kits. IST-LAX was an iPad case and a nice small bag on the return flight. Contents were the same in both directions - toothbrush, toothpaste, eye shades, etc
Highly recommended. Seating is 2-3-2, plenty of space even in the middle of 3-seater.
I was lucky and had decent crews on both flights. Overall excellent experience.

Thanks for the swift replies.
I've just booked the seats. Looking forward to it. Even if it is 7 months away lol.
That's what I've gotta do, work schedule is crazy.
Well anyways, Thank you all :-)
