Star Alliance - Who is responsible to clean up record with *A upgrade?

Issued by LH (though no flights on LH on itinerary)
Flights on TG upgraded D to F with US miles (no US flights on itinerary).
UA flights upgraded D to F with UA Global Upgrade Certs.

I have a red flag on the UA site saying that I need to call to have ticket reissued (most likely because the upgrades have gone through, creating both a D and an F reservation for a couple of the segments).

On the LH site, it shows that the UA segments are double booked.

UA told me to call LH. LH told me to call US. As I don't have any flight on US, they don't know what to do.

Wisdom from the sages?

If the ticket is on LH stock, then you need to call LH.
It's not a US issue ... and it's not a UA issue per se.
But given how much goofiness there is with UA's reservation system, I'd be wary of SHARES (not) synching correctly with LH.

Thanks for the info. After two rounds of calls, LH is still saying I need to contact UA!

On the United forums here there is a United company representative that might be able to help. She helped me with a ticket re-issue although it was straight UA, not Star Alliance.

Send a PM to "UA Insider" here and give all the details of your UA flights that were upgraded. It would probably be most helpful if you had the UA PNR which you might be able to get from LH, if not you can call UA and tell them your name and what flight number you are on and have them look up your PNR and give it to you. If they get that far they can probably fix it for you themselves. If not, PM your name, flight details including PNR to "UA Insider" here at Flyertalk and she might be able to help you.

After four rounds of calls between LH and UA, a UA agent was finally able to get things into sync.

That's good news. Now if UA could only get their airline in sync since their merger with Continental...
