Star Alliance - UA or US in Business from Germany to US (Denver)

I'm looking to fly from Germany (Munich) to the US (Denver) at the end of August. It appears that both United and US Airways currently have fairly good deals. Never having flown either Transatlantic - how do the business cabins compare?

I would be flying with an Infant - so single Business seats (as US seems to have them in their A330) might be an advantage.

For me, the primary consideration is seat quality. If you can get a US A330 with the Envoy suite, I would recommend that over any of UA's business class offerings. As a solo traveler, I like the Envoy seat better than UA's 747 upper deck (which is better than other UA options). I haven't flown with an infant, but not bugging a neighbor seems like a big thing for me.

I also believe service is better on US than UA, though others will disagree, and it's not the higher quality of non-American airlines.
