I've been trying to join M&S for the past day and I keep getting this stupid message :


Please check and correct the mistakes listed below.

Your input data matches with a membership which has been already registered. (This may be caused because of pressing Continue button more than once.) If you forgot your membership id and pin number, contact with our call center. Miles&Smiles Call Center : (+90) 444 0

I haven't..

And the address keeps putting me in Turkey even though I state that its Canada!

I searched all my mail and I don't remember ever joining M&S! And the system just won't let me join now either. Does the M&S Call Centre number make sense? 4 numbers only? Do I have to call them long distance??

I can't email them either !!

Try to send them a message with all the details at customermiles@thy.com.

And/or use the Fax.
With M&S you have to be pushy and yes it is a long distance call !

Maybe your local TK-Office could be from help as well.

When I first joined I mistakenly did not put a space between my middle name and the same error kept appearing...your name has to be exactly as you have processed it...

im having the same exact issues ... stupid website is very lousy. been trying to use different addresses and different countries to avoid the issue but no dice.

Same problem for me too. I thought that I had made some stupid mistake trying to enroll, which I was doing for the status match promotion. I sent an email June 6 with a copy of my elite card and statement along with a note of the problem I had enrolling, and gave them my name, address, etc to find out my TK number.

The next day I received an email saying "Your message has been successfully delivered to Turkish Airlines, thank you for your interest. You can easily track the status of your message through the following reference number: 7278XXX." Does anyone know how to "easily" track the status of my message? Did everyone else get this email from TK as well?

I had a similar problem as the OP and have it solved through their call center in a 12 minute call just before posting here. There was no waiting time, I could efficiently pass information to the agent using the NATO phonetic alphabet and the whole thing cost me arout .5 USD.

Had the same problem as OP, using variety of browsers.

Managed to register and get TK number using their iPhone app - then logged onto the website to complete the rest of the profile.

What was really annoying is the pre-populated list of cities [after you select UK], that is missing a lot of actual cities, yet having some various train stations :confused:

Thanks for the tip, the iPhone app method was the only method that worked for me too. Their website is painfully buggy.

Tried to register using both IE and Google Chrome, but got the same error message as the OP. Used my Android and it went through just fine, even though I filled out the same forms with the same info as before. Go figure.

Same problem registering using Firefox. Problem SOLVED by call US 1-800-874-8875 and setting account up over the phone.
