Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer - EWR -> SIN Boarding Pass

Greetings. Newbie question.

I'm flying UA Express to EWR, before my SQ flight from EWR to SIN.

Will I need to get an SQ boarding pass in EWR? Or will I be good to go after the initial check-in with UA?

Are you on a single ticket (PNR)?
If so, there's a reasonable chance at UA check-in at your departure point you will get your SQ BP.
If not, you'll have to get it at EWR.

actually you will know for sure when you check in. If two BPs come out, and the 2nd one is SQ, you are all set. Otherwise, look for SQ counter at EWR and print your BP again.
