Online Travel Booking and Bidding Agencies - Hertz Points or Frequent Flier/Guest Points on Priceline Reservation

Reserving a 1 week rental on Priceline saved me $75 (and changed the agency which I was using from an off-site to an in terminal one) so I'm really happy with my bid. If I can get frequent flier/guest points and the bonuses they are offering I would be even happier. What are people's successes with having points, including bonuses that require booking with a certain code, if Hertz adds a frequent flier/guest number when you pick up the car? Would I have much better success with adding my Gold Plus Rewards #?

You can add all the codes and numbers you want, but don't expect any credit on the reservation. Not saying it doesn't happen from time to time, but it's not supposed to on a name your own price reservation.
You should be able to get the reservation taken care of at the gold booth according to the previous threads about it, but don't expect your name to be on the board, to get an upgrade, or any other points.

I have never heard of a PL car rental earning points/miles. Sometimes folks get hotel credits, but rarely.

I have made many PL "name your own price" bookings for hotels and rental cars. Never received FF mileage or hotel points for any of them, although I've tried.
