July 15-18 I will be in San Diego for the StarRez User Conference (college housing software). My boss reserved a king-sized guest room (a 250 square foot Garden room) for me. Is anyone familiar with the quality of this resort? How close is it to the University of San Diego (site of my conference)? And since the Comic-Con conference is also taking place, is it also being housed at the T & C resort?
Sorry for all the questions - this is my 1st conference :)
Thank you in advance!

I've just looked at the University of San Diego and the Town & Country hotel on google maps. It shows them as 2.3 miles or a 6 minute drive apart.
ComicCon is at the Convention Center in downtown San Diego. It is 7 miles south of your hotel. ComicCon should have little impact on your stay. The downtown hotels and restaurants will be slammed, though.
Your hotel is on Hotel Circle. There is nowhere to walk from it. It's location is sensible for your work, but otherwise boring in my opinion. You'll definitely need a car should you want to enjoy San Diego.

Nearly all of Hotel Circle also books up during ComicCon

Thanks to both of you (Comm. Director & DJG)! Now if I could only find someone who's stayed there in the recent past (no later than a month ago)...

That is completely wrong. Town & Country is one of the official hotels for Comic Con and one of the Shuttle stops for Comic Con. EVERY place in Mission Valley, Downtown & Old Town will be busy.
But, at this point he is best to stay put at T&C since hotel space can be tough to come by.
T&C itself is fine. Not a luxury resort, a bit dated, but clean, comfortable and nice grounds.
