Star Alliance - Lounge at DEL, for *G?

Is there a lounge at DEL accessible to *G? I'll be flying into DEL from DOH on Qatar (business class) at 3:00am, and connecting to a domestic flight after a 4-6 hour layover.

Then when we leave India, I'll be flying into DEL and will have a 5 hour layover before leaving on UA Business to EWR.

I flew into and out of DEL a few months a go. I don't know about a *G lounge, but United does have one. However, I think they only let you enter the terminal when your flit leaves within 3 hours. Not sure on that point, but that was an issue when I flew out of Mumbai.

Yes, there is a *G lounge in the airport, I was there in January. I took that same flight (DEL->EWR)...CO83 I believe...and when I checked in the agent gave me a card that granted me access to the lounge so make sure you ask for it if they don't provide it. That said the lounge was pretty nice, a bit small but had a good selection of food and drinks.

Since you're flying in on Qatar and connecting to a domestic flight (and no Indian airlines are currently Star Alliance members) you're not going to get lounge access for being *G. You have to be departing on a *A flight to get *G lounge access:

Customer must also present a boarding pass for travel on a Star Alliance flight departing from the local airport

You might want to ask in the Qatar forum if there is an arrivals lounge in DEL for business class customers.

You'll get access on the way out because you're departing on UA.
