Hey guys,
got a (maybe stupid) question for you? I'm looking to fly to LAX in July/August in J. Altough I'm stationed in DXB I'm always looking for cheaper fares out of nearby cities. So I checked for flights out of CAI to the US in March and found J fares for as low as $2000. I couldn't buy a ticket at that time as I did not know when my holidays would start (turns out that this was a big mistake).
Now I can't find any J fares below $6500 out of CAI and this is not only for the months of July/August but from now until next year constant. So I checked whether these were saver or flex fares. Turns out that all fares are flex. I can't find a single saver fare from now until next year. Is that even possible? Kind of strange isn't it especially since they offer special fares from around $3000 on their website.
Now my question is: Does this really mean only flex fares and no more saver fares are available out of CAI or is it a gltich? Should I call an Emirates office and ask if there is a saver fare available?
Can someone please enlighten me. I fell kind of stupid to ask this question but I have never seen this before.
Thanks guys
