Southwest Rapid Rewards - What's the calendar release schedule?

Generally speaking, about how often is a new calendar released for booking flights? Anyone care to postulate an educated (or even informed) guess of when I should start checking on a daily basis to book Thanksgiving week flights?

The upcoming release date is always listed at the top of the Travel Tools (http://www.southwest.com/html/travel-tools/index.html) page. So the answer to your question is currently June 4th, but keep an eye on that page because they occasionally change that date.
