Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles - use for spare TK miles

I'm an expat is europe. I have around 5000 spare miles. I credit to other American carriers' programs on a regular basis. I was curious to know if any one had any great ideas for what do with spare miles. Can I buy magazines or similar useful goods. I don't live in Turkey, so a discount on a Turk Cell phone or the like is of no use to me.
